THE ESSAY COMPETITION PROGRAMME:

From 2009 up to date, the number of pupils drawn from 8 Junior Secondary Schools in Akropong who have had the opportunity to participate in the programme are as follows -

The participating schools are: PTC Demonstration Junior Secondary School, Presbyterian Salem Junior Secondary School, Okuapeman Junior Secondary School, Methodist Junior Secondary School, Presbyterian Junior Secondary School, Anglican Junior Secondary School, Municipal Junior Secondary School and School for the Blind.

OUTCOMES/BENEFITS:

In all (35) thirty five candidates have received cash awards whilst (96)ninety-six had book prizes. Almost all the beneficiaries passed their final year exams and were admitted into various second cycle(SSS) institutions. Indeed it is wonderful to hear that the essay writing initiative among pupils has consistently garnered encouraging turnout. The support of teachers, recognizing the significance of such exercises, further underscores its importance. Many people present at the last award acknowledged Kwakwaduam Fekuw's efforts in assisting young pupils prepare for academic success. This is a reflection of our dedication to nurturing the academic development of students, which undoubtedly plays a crucial role in shaping their future success and Kwakwaduam Fekuw(UK) are so proud of our invaluable contributions!
